Shamita Gogia Makeup Artist

Shamita was my calm during the two day wedding madness. I never once had to tell her what and how I wanted my looks to be. She is incredibly talented at what she does and if you are looking for someone that has the ability to make you feel like she has a magic wand she is your artist. She knows how to work with each person’s unique features (She also did make up for my mum for all the wedding functions) and when she is done you will feel ready to take on whatever adventure your going towards feeling and looking beautiful. Loved her work!

I found out about Shamita and her work through a friend of mine. After going through her work on Instagram, I felt her work was fresh, natural and clean. Working with Shamita was super easy and I felt heard when I was sharing my vision and also things that I liked and disliked. We went through a trial session and I felt I was in good hands as our sensibilities aligned. Leading up to the big day, I didn’t feel stressed about my look at all, it was fun working with Shamita, she is extremely focused on the client and strikes a good balance between what the client is comfortable with and pushing the boundaries! I would highly recommend Shamita to anyone looking for a modern, clean look for any day. Also her makeup and look lasted for a whole 12 hours, which was outstanding! Shamita did such an amazing job at my bridal look! She was super professional and punctual throughout the process. She took into account any preferences I had, and made sure I liked how I looked at my wedding. I’m usually not a fan of heavy makeup and feel like it can change how one looks. But Shamita’s work was so skilled that she made me feel beautiful while still myself, without layering on a ton of products on my face. Highly recommend booking her!

Shamita is a kind , patient and very talented makeup artist. She has always had the sensibilities for natural makeup which works more on enhancing her subjects features rather than transforming them into looking like someone else. She is very accommodating and understanding. Highly recommended.

Shamita got me dolled up for my cousins wedding. She is extremely professional and great at communication. She did not jump right into the job but took the time to understand my expectations with respect to hair and what I preferred for make up, eyes and the overall look. She made me look better than I looked on my own wedding day. I am very impressed and would certainly recommend her. What I liked about her is she did not rush at all and took the time to make fixes where needed. Thank you Shamita for all you did for me. Shamita and Tina are both super sweet and super accommodating of every request you make with them. I only had Shamita for my makeup in Bombay for my reception and all my friends and family said that was my best look- both for makeup and hair. But beyond the flawless make up, it's how gentle she is through the process.
