Modern Wedding With Baby's Breath Decor & A Very Unique Sabyasachi Lehenga!

BY Sakshi | 26 Mar, 2024 | 3413 views | 3 min read

Now this wedding was about all things offbeat! Not only did the bride not wear a typical traditional bridal lehenga, but even the decor of the wedding was a deviation from the usual. Tanvi's wedding was all about amazing bridal style, a beautiful English charm and a very cute childhood love story! We fell in love with this one as soon as we spotted it, and kudos to the bride for trying something so different- and did it pay off so well! Take a look at this stunning wedding, and brides, take some style cues from this one!

Meet Tanvi and Animesh

We were kids when we became neighbours 17 years ago, he was my first crush and we have been friends ever since. Destiny played its part and we started dating six years ago and got married just last month.

From The Bride

Our wedding took place on February 7, 2024. I as a bride always wanted an English Backyard Wedding with Indian touch. Had just baby’s breath as our choice of flower for all the decor and a mandap of my dreams. With an eye for aesthetic, I planned every little detail of my wedding for months, and it just turned out as beautiful as I always imagined it to be!

I did use the WedMeGood App many a times to find inspiration when choosing the outfits for different wedding events, while browsing through different mandap designs etc

Vendor Reviews

Venue: ITC Mughal, Agra

The gardens, water channels are a fitting tribute to the great Mughal builders in the past, upon deciding that we wanted to get married in the city where we first met, ITC Mughal was our first choice, and so thankful to the staff of the property for making everything so seamless and for an unforgettable experience.

Makeup Artist: Aanchal Sakhrani

She’s the maestro Meera Sakhrani’s sister, and her work us just as amazing. She and her team are the most beautiful set of people I met, they made the whole process so stress free. I was so happy with all my looks, glad I chose her.

Photography: Fourfold Pictures

They are one of the bests in the business, and they really gave us the best memories. Their team is very dedicated and professional, and great people personally as well.

Bridal Outfits: My Wedding Lehenga was Sabyasachi, I just knew it was my lehenga as I laid my eyes on it. It’s a piece that I feel is timeless with its chic ivory colour and patchwork.

My Sangeet Lehenga was Kshitij Jalori, a velvet lehenga with floral work and zardozi duptta was a perfect choice for my Mughal themed Sangeet Night.

My Haldi outfit was from Preeti S Kapoor, it was a pink sharara that I wore in pakistani style with gajra on my hair and mogra strings on my hand.

My Engagement Outfit was from Aastha Narang, a classic white threadwork based lehenga for my English white wedding themed Engagement.
