#FirstPerson: We Shot Our Pre-Wedding Shoot In Ladakh And ..."

BY Latha Sunadh | 10 Jul, 2017 | 5163 views | 3 min read

Leh - Ladakh - two words that Indians just love. Only because if there's paradise on earth- it's this. That's why, we found a bride who made sure Ladakh made it's way into her life through a memorable pre-wedding shoot. It was top notch editorial quality feature shot by none other than Naman Verma Photography★ 4.9 . There were mountains, lakes, temples and more and the couple were immersed into this magic. And we loved how thoughtful the shoot was - it showed food, places they went, who they met and it's so much like a magazine shoot - full-on editorial. And Anupreet, the bride created her own outfits for each setting - read on to know her thoughts!

Our Love Story in Ladakh

"I’m an army kid and because of that, you are more likely to visit Ladakh once if not multiple times in your lifetime. That's why it ranks high on my priority list - a beautiful place that is nothing short of heaven on earth. From the day my husband and I met, we knew we both loved travelling and I wanted Akshit (my better half) to go there with me since forever. Trust me it’s a whole other experience if you go for this trip with your “the one”.

I had planned this trip for months - creating clothes and deciding locations. From the Snow covered mountains in Khardungla to the cold deserts of Nubra to the endless roads next to the rivers and the mandatory visit to Pangong Tso Lake, we wanted to cover it all (and we did...yay!!!).

We wanted to capture everything from our small little romantic walks through the local markets in Leh to the adventurous rush that one gets when you are moving through a high pass. Basically it was everything that a couple should experience at least once in their lifetime.

Every single moment was heaven with Akshit and  it wouldn’t have been possible without Naman Verma who did our photography and who is also a WMG vendor. Without his phenomenal vision we couldn’t have had this shoot!" explains Anupreet.

Locations: In and around Leh City, Disket-Nubra, Nubra Dessert, Lamayuru Monastery, Thicksey monastery, Spangmik- Pangong-Tso Lake, Khardungla Pass and Chang la Pass.
